Ideal Car Centre were very good, they did everything they promised during the sale, the car was ready on time and it was really nice and clean when I collected it, they refunded my deposit right away like they said, I haven't got a single complaint and I'd recommend them.

Avoid !!!!! Stupidly bought a car from them and within the same day the car started leaking oil onto the exhaust, advised not to drive as a potential fire hazard. Oil dripping onto exhaust. Brakes were condemned after a local garage inspected it. And quite a few more serious issues. Contacted the dealer and was given the run around for weeks. Finally decided to fix all the issues to the grand sum of £800 argued the point with the dealer and provided receipts also, but no joy. Basically fed lies and out of pocket to the sum of £800. Have passed all correspondents on to a friends Mum who is a lawyer and is building a case to sue them for all expenses. The only good news is she will do this for me gratis:)... Have since reported to trading standards and watchdog. What goes around comes around. Shocking! I feel like they sold me a dangerous car.

I went to view and test drive. I knew mot and service was due in September 2016. Not a great part exchange price either so I said so. He said well you can walk away. So I put £100.00 deposit down and said see if you can better my finance deals. Then I read these posts and rang up to cancel. He said I couldn't get my deposit back as he had to pay for it. Glad I walked away after reading these reviews. Told and wrote to trading standards too. Hope this helps anyone.

Do not trust this website!!! They are complicit in allowing people who have never purchased cars to post fake negative reviews, and making no effort to remove or edit incorrect and defamatory reviews despite proof they are fake or incorrect.

I bought a car from this dealer,and would never buy another car from them again. Stay well away from Ideal Car Centre. The after sales was very bad, after they took my money they did not want to know. This company should have the Trading Standards look into how they can sell cars to the public.

Was contacted today by after sales and asked to leave a review of how I found the service..... Ideal were great, when they mentioned they had a few bad reviews and we're contacting all their customers I was shocked. They were true gents and I am over the moon with my car. It was the cheapest around and in lovely condition. Cannot fault the car or the service!

I found the whole experience first class - my partner pointed out what needed doing on the car I was looking to buy and everything was put right before I purchased the vehicle. On collection of the vehicle this was straight forward and (a special thank you to Shaun) for the full what the car can do experience). They have some nice prestige motors and give a 3 month warranty on all vehicles so don't let the negatives below put you off - if anything happens after sale you are covered for parts and labour. I have just bought from ideal centre and I thought they were great. The young lad I dealt with was really friendly and helpful. On the 2 occasions we were there they were overwhelmed with customers but still managed to demonstrate good customer service. It's early days yet as far as the cars health is concerned but we had a lovely drive home to Wales and would reccomend them to anyone.

Absolutely shocking service! Engine went after a few weeks. The garage have taken no steps to rectify the problem and class it as wear and tear. These people treated me in a disgusting manner and I feel they are getting away with selling cars that won't last two minutes, just like mine. Avoid Ideal Car Centre and buy from another dealer.

Bought a Clio Renault Sport 197 for £3490, dealer was a pleasure to do business with very helpful for the test drive and valeting service included, car is great price and no issues with it highly recommended dealership
